Located between Agassiz National Wildlife Refuge (filled with deer, moose, ducks, geese and birds of many varieties) and Thief Lake Wildlife Management Area (55 thousand acres with a 7,100 acre lake for hunting, trapping and viewing migratory birds)   Middle River is rich in hunting opportunities for deer, geese & other game.

Below is a list of monthly meetings that take place in the City of Middle River.

Council Monthly Meetings

Second Wednesday of the month at 6pm.

AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY

AMERICAN LEGION POST 444

Second Monday of the month at the American Legion at 7pm.

SONS OF AMERICAN LEGION

Second Tuesday of the month at the American Legion at 7:30pm.

MIDDLE RIVER COMMUNITY CLUB

Second Thursday in the months of April, May, June, August, September and either October or November. Annual meeting is held in January. No meetings February, March, July or December.

SPORTSMEN’S CLUB

Second Wednesday of the month at The Wheel at 7pm.

MIDDLE RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT

First Tuesday of the month at 7pm.

MIDDLE RIVER COMMUNITY THEATRE

Third Monday of the month at the theatre (warm months) or American Legion (cold months) at 6pm.

MIDDLE RIVER SENIOR CLUB

Last Friday of the month at Spruce Valley Community Center (warm months) or Royal Manor (cold months) at 11am.
